Artificial Flower Arrangements Guarantee & Care Policy

Artificial Flower Arrangements Guarantee & Care Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

At Petalwyn Home, we carefully prepare Artificial Flower Arrangements for shipment and want them to arrive in an acceptable condition. This policy explains our Live Plant Arrival Guarantee, how to report a problem, and the basic care responsibilities that begin after delivery.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies only to Artificial Flower Arrangements purchased directly from Petalwyn Home and delivered within the United States.

Artificial plants, planters, floral decorations, accessories, and other non-perishable products are covered by our Return & Refund Policy.

2. Live Plant Arrival Guarantee

We will review and provide an appropriate resolution when a live plant:

  • Arrives dead or seriously damaged
  • Arrives with severe breakage that affects the health of the plant
  • Is materially different from the plant ordered
  • Is missing from the delivered package

Depending on the circumstances and product availability, an approved resolution may include a replacement, partial refund, full refund, or store credit.

3. Reporting an Arrival Problem

Inspect and unpack your live plant promptly after delivery. We recommend reporting a dead-on-arrival or seriously damaged plant within 48 hours of the recorded delivery time.

Please provide:

  • Your full name and order number
  • A clear description of the problem
  • A photograph showing the complete plant
  • Close-up photographs of the damaged areas
  • Photographs of the shipping box and internal packaging
  • A photograph of the shipping label

Send the information to contact@petalwynhome.com or through our Contact page.

Please keep the plant and all original packaging until we complete our review. Do not return a live plant unless Petalwyn Home provides written return instructions.

4. Natural Plant Variations

Every live plant is unique. Reasonable differences in height, shape, fullness, leaf count, coloration, pattern, growth direction, and maturity are normal.

Product photographs represent the plant variety and general appearance, but do not guarantee that every delivered plant will look identical to the photograph.

5. Normal Effects of Shipping

Artificial Flower Arrangements may experience temporary stress during transportation. The following conditions do not necessarily indicate that a plant is defective:

  • Temporary drooping or wilting
  • Minor leaf loss or small cosmetic marks
  • Slightly bent stems or leaves
  • Loose or displaced soil
  • Seasonal differences in growth or appearance
  • Minor color variation

Many plants recover after being unpacked, watered appropriately, and allowed time to adjust to their new environment.

6. Conditions Not Covered

The Live Plant Arrival Guarantee generally does not cover damage or deterioration caused after successful delivery by:

  • Leaving the package unopened for an extended period
  • Leaving the plant outdoors in extreme heat, cold, rain, or direct sunlight
  • Overwatering, underwatering, or unsuitable water quality
  • Insufficient or excessive light
  • Improper temperature, humidity, soil, drainage, or fertilizer
  • Repotting, transplanting, pruning, or chemical treatment
  • Failure to follow available care instructions
  • Damage caused by children, pets, pests, or household accidents
  • An incomplete or incorrect delivery address supplied by the customer
  • A failed delivery attempt or package refusal
  • Ordinary natural variation or minor cosmetic damage

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights available to customers under applicable law.

7. Change-of-Mind Returns

Artificial Flower Arrangements are perishable and sensitive to storage, transportation, climate, and care conditions. For this reason, Artificial Flower Arrangements are generally not eligible for ordinary change-of-mind returns.

This exclusion does not apply when a live plant arrives seriously damaged, dead, incorrect, or otherwise qualifies for a remedy under this policy or applicable law.

8. Care Immediately After Delivery

Unpack Promptly

Carefully remove the plant from its shipping box and protective packaging as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Inspect the Plant

Check the leaves, stems, soil, container, and roots when visible. Photograph any serious damage before changing or repotting the plant.

Allow Time to Adjust

Place the plant in a stable location with suitable light and temperature. Avoid immediately exposing it to intense sunlight, extreme temperatures, or unnecessary repotting.

Check Before Watering

Check the soil moisture before adding water. Do not automatically water a plant when the soil is already wet. Care requirements vary by plant species.

Use Proper Drainage

Avoid allowing the roots to remain in standing water unless the specific plant requires those conditions. Ensure that the container and soil provide suitable drainage.

9. Ongoing Plant Care

The health and growth of a live plant depend on its environment and ongoing care. Customers are responsible for providing appropriate:

  • Light exposure
  • Watering schedule
  • Temperature and humidity
  • Soil and drainage
  • Fertilization when appropriate
  • Protection from pests and extreme weather

General care information is educational and cannot guarantee a particular growth rate, lifespan, flowering schedule, harvest, or result.

10. Outdoor Plants and Local Climate

Before placing a plant outdoors, consider your local climate, season, sunlight, temperature, and plant hardiness requirements.

A plant suitable for one part of the United States may not be suitable for another location or season. Customers are responsible for determining whether their local conditions are appropriate for the selected plant.

11. Children and Pets

Some plants may be harmful if touched or consumed by people or animals. Unless a product is expressly described as pet-safe or non-toxic, do not assume that it is safe for children or pets.

Keep plants out of reach when appropriate and consult a qualified veterinarian, medical professional, or recognized plant-safety resource if exposure occurs.

12. Replacements and Refunds

Approved replacements depend on product availability and may not be identical in size, shape, or natural appearance to the original plant.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. After a refund is issued, the bank or payment provider may require approximately 5-10 business days to post it to the customer's account.
